I have taken my wands 'on the road' for several events like E7 and releases of Harry Potter books and movies. I'm always interested in a chance to take my shop on the road locally. However, we consider traveling to events but only those with a good history or guaranteed minimum visitors. I now set up to add the magical core in my shop (after a purchase) and set up space to allow young buyers a chance to 'test' wands. (Once the parent agrees on a wand, the child tests some and the 'right wand' makes magic - like a small stack of boxes flies apart or a candle lights.) I can aslo help organize the event and offer experience in many event areas. Let me know if you're interested. Here are some pictures of my real shop and the shop I set up for these events.

Enlightening 2007
A Wizard Camp for Families

The Old Trader, and his family, participated in Enlightening 2007 where he opened
The Old Traders Wand Shop [with the Legendary Wand Collection].
He also presented classes on wand making and the magic of wands where he talked about several aspects of wands, woods, magic, and how they all relate to the Harry Potter stories.
The E7 site (click title above) tells about this fantastic camp which was sponsored by
Bonding Over Books (BOB).
The camp was at the University of Pennsylvania and ran from
Thursday July 12th through Sunday July 15th.

WOW ! ! ! What an event!
This was the most magical event I think the USA has ever seen.

Potterdelphia helped advertise E7 at the Center City Philadelphia Camp Fair 2007.

The Old Trader is also available to present classes/symposiums on the magic of wands/wood and

Many of The Legendary Collection wands were recently shown in the Collingswood, NJ -
Perkin's Center for the Arts Wood Turners Exhibition .

Fete Day
Fete Day on Elfreth's Alley - Saturday June 9

The Old Trader, AKA The Woodcrafter, appeared at Fete Day on
Elfreth's Alley - a National Historic Landmark District in Old City Philadelphia, PA and represented the Wood Turning Center of Philadelphia by demonstrating lathe turning of various wooden items.
