ROCKWELL MANUFACTURING COMPANY - A DELTACRAFT PULICATION
Fisherman
Book Ends
If you have a lot of fisherman friends, you can rest assured they would be real happy to receive a set of these book ends as a Christmas or birthday gift. The base and back are made of black walnut. The fish and fisherman cut-outs could be made from pine or mahogany plywood for color contrast. If you are artistically inclined, you may even want to paint the cutouts in natural colors. As an added feature you can use a small fly on a string as shown in the photograph. For a natural finish apply two coats of shellac and a coat of rubbed effect varnish.
