Child's Glider Swing.

Here is the orginal article straight from
Plan No. 4635
DELTA MFG. DIVISION

THIS sturdy glider swing for the children can be used both indoors and out. The frame and the upright arms are made from 1-1/8" hardwood such as birch, oak, or maple. The inner swinging arms and platform are made from 3/4" hardwood. The seat sides are 1/2" plywood (waterproof is better for outside use). The floor slats are 1/2" lumber as shown in the drawing.

The base frame is put together with bolts f'or greater strength. The seat sides are screwed to the inside of the platform frame.

Brush or spray on the undercoat and several coats of outside paint, color optional. Decorate with colorful nursery decals.

Band saw the seat sides from 1/2" waterproof plywood for
use out of doors. (left)
