Junior Bed

HERE is a project, made from light hardwood such as birch or maple, that will be welcome in any home with small children.
The bed was designed around a standard junior size spring and mattress.
It would be best, however, to check on such sizes and possibly buy the spring and mattress before beginning construction on the bed. In this way any slight change in dimension size may be corrected before much of the work of construction is finished.
The drawing on the following page is self-explanatory. The hardware may be purchased from your local hardware dealer.
The finish of the original was natural with several coats of white shellac, followed by either wax or varnish.
